About Me

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, School of Professional Psychology in 1992.  I became licensed as a Psychologist in Colorado in 1994 and as a School Psychologist in 2000.  In 2011, I became an independent facilitator of the Love and Logic® curricula.

My pre-doctoral internship was at the San Fernando Child Guidance Clinic in Northridge, California.  My work there included individual, family and group treatment of children and adolescents in outpatient and day treatment settings.  After receiving my doctorate, I spent four years working in community mental health at the Jefferson Center for Mental Health as a Child and Family Clinician.  In 1995, I joined the Cherry Creek School District as a School Psychologist where I worked for almost 20 years.

In my current practice, I offer psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of social, emotional and behavioral concerns.  An important aspect of my work with children and teens is supporting their parents through parent counseling and education.  I have provided Love and Logic® workshops at my office and at varying locations throughout the Denver metro area.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Colorado Psychological Association (CPA), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the Association for Play Therapy (APT).
